I came across this 2012 TED talk by former NASA Scientist and current Columbia Professor of climate science James Hansen while I was researching references for this week's podcast interview with Louis Blumberg. In his 17 minutes, Hansen talks about why he is compelled to speak out on climate change. His call is urgent, alarming and inspiring.
